Can Obama Beat McCain?
The man on the street is pondering that question. Democrats everywhere are haunted by
the Rev Wright controversy. When you get that average American into the polling
booth come November, will the words “God dam America” ring in their ears and sway
them to vote for McCain??
That is the question all good Democrats must ponder in the middle of the night.
When I wake up at 3am and wonder how in the heck I am going to make it another week,
another month, another year.....I wonder what will happen to the country I love if we have
to suffer through another four years of Bush economics. Make no mistake about it, if
McCain becomes our next president it will be business as usual on Capital Hill. Can any
of us afford that??
In the middle of the night, I wake up and wonder what is happening to the America I once
knew. According to CNN, fifteen million Americans are behind on their energy bills.
Fifteen million people!! Utility companies can’t turn off the heat and electric in the
middle of winter, but they sure as heck can do it when the nice weather comes around.
That means that all these Americans will have to pay up NOW, or they will have their
electric and heat shut off, and if they are not paid up by next fall, they will not have heat
or electric for the next heating season! The cost of heating a home has not only doubled in
some areas of the country, it has tripled! I used to pay 800.00 a season to heat my home ,
now I am paying over 2400.00 a season to heat that same home! Just that is bad enough,
but I am also paying a lot more at the grocery store, more for every other service like
garbage removal, phone and electric bill, and yes even cable TV has hiked it’s rates at a
time when Americans are hurting more than ever. The simple pleasure of watching TV
may soon be more than most Americans can afford. Even having a pet is becoming so
expensive that I can barely find the money for vaccinations. Every aspect of my life has
become a struggle due to finances. The stress is just unbelievable, and I know I have it
better than many, many others out there. I have no idea how other people are making it. I
know many are maxing out their credit cards to buy the gas they need to get to work. I
also know those people have no way to pay off those credit cards. What happens then??
I don’t think the people in Washington DC have any idea how much the average family is
hurting. The country is falling apart, and it will continue to fall apart if McCain gets
elected. I believe the situation is so dire and intense that if we pick the wrong person
next fall, there may not even be a United States of America when it comes to the election
of 2012! Or at least there will not be a United States of America that any of us know or
recognize.
Of course all the prices are going up because the cost of a barrel of oil has become more
expensive than at any other time in history. I am just wondering why we are spending three
billion dollars a week on the war in Iraq, and we are paying almost 4.00 at the pump with
no end in sight! For all the money that we spent in Iraq gas should be 25 cents a gallon.
Let’s cut the bull crap, the only reason we are in Iraq is to protect our oil interests. I don’t
get it, but what is even worse, Washington does not get it either, or we would not be in
the high gas price nightmare. The man on the street, here in Wisconsin thinks the
government controls the price of oil, pure and simple. They do not believe for a moment there is even a shortage. That it is a big lie. All a big Bush lie to be exact! People
believe that the right person in the White House will bring those gas prices down again.
So we come back to the question, Can Obama beat McCain? Many people in Wisconsin
think that he should be able to, but they would feel more comfortable if Hillary was
running against McCain instead of Obama. In the end the Democrats of this country will
unite and vote us out of this Bush nightmare. If we stick together, and make our demands
known, and keep the pressure up, we will turn our country around and make
America the bright and shining star, the beacon of hope for the rest of the world that the
good Lord intended it to be.
Americans are strong people, we have been through bad times before, and we will get
through the bad times of the future. We have to go back to our roots, remember our
heritage, and emulate the great Americans that came before us. We have grit and
determination in our blood, we can do anything we put our minds to. This too shall pass.
We will find new and better ways to fuel our world, and one day, we will be free of the
oil demon that threatens to destroy us, but only if we chose our leaders wisely. Now is the
time for every good American to get out there, and chose wisely. We are already on the
comeback trail. Look at the talent at our disposal! Both Barrack and Hillary are way
above average. Both are great Americans, ready to change history. All we have to do, is
make sure we get out and vote for which ever one becomes the presidential candidate.
People of America, it’s in our hands, lets not blow it!

Was The Rev Wright Firestorm Ignited By The Clinton Political Machine?
What is the average man in the street thinking about in small towns in Wisconsin? From
now until the presidential election I will be posting opinions of average Americans that
are not always aired on mainstream media. Although these opinions can be somewhat
controversial, they are not meant to be offensive in any way.
Do you think the Rev Wright firestorm was started by the Clinton political machine?
People are talking across the nation and shaking their heads. Things just do not add.
Things do not make sense. Why would the infamous Rev Wright want to blow the
election for Obama? Let’s examine the facts and then come to our own conclusions.
Listening to Rev Wright it is hard to believe he is a man of God. Obviously he has a deep
hatred for the United States of America. Although he claims his remarks were taken out
of context, nothing could be further from the truth. When Glen Beck ran the full sermon
on his nightly news program it became clear that Rev Wright’s antics which aired on
CNN were but the tip of the iceberg! If anything he became even more controversial! He
even blames the USA for 911.
Considering that Rev Wright is a millionaire many times over, it seems strange that he
does not realize it was this country that gave him the oppourtunity to become so
successful. I doubt that he would have attained these heights in another country. Yet,
there is not one gesture of gratitude in his rhetoric. Yes, Rev Wright, “God dam
America!”. Such statements make most American’s blood boil.
Up until last week Senator Obama claimed that his church was not all that controversial.
Oprah went to the same church as Senator Obama, and she found it controversial enough
to leave that church. There is a big difference between Oprah and Rev Wright. Oprah
loves this country and she knows that in a large part she owes her great success to it.
When it comes to Senator Obama, from the way he talks about America, we would
assume that he feels the same way, or does he??
If you sat in a church for 20 years and listened to this kind of talk, what would you do??
Most Americas would walk away in disgust, regardless of thier race or creed. Americans
realize that in spite of it’s problems, this country is still the best place on the planet. There
will always be problems, there will always be mistakes, but to say “God dam America” is
deeply offensive to all those people who love this great country.
My ancestors were not always treated kindly by this country either, but they knew it was
the best place in the entire world to make something for yourself . They came to this
country with a humble heart and a strong work ethic, and these values were instilled into
every family member since that time. America was a place where men could be free to
become whatever they wanted if they worked hard to get there. Kind of sounds like the
same things Senator Obama says in his speeches? The only difference here is that my
family lived by those words, as did the church they went to.
And so we come back to the question at the beginning of this blog. Did the Clinton
political machine have anything to do with the infamous Rev Wright shooting off his fat
mouth? It might be a possibility, because they love this country so much that they would
do anything, take any risk, to make sure that the next president of the United States loves
this country above all else except for God. Perhaps Rev Wright was paid to make a fool
of himself, his church and Obama, and if he was, then one has to wonder at the
oppurtunist nature of this man. One has to wonder, what else are we going to find out
before it is all over? If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck and quakes like a duck,
then dammit, it is a duck!
Where there is smoke there is fire. There is no such thing as a coincidence. Altough Rev
Wright has a huge ego there had to be more in it for him to betray and embarrass Obama
in this way. If Obama runs against McCain in the fall, you can bet that all this nasty stuff
about Rev Wright is going to resuface. That’s just politics. It’s all part of the process.
Obama came to us as a clean slate, but I can guarantee it that it won’t stay that way. That
is simply not the nature of the beast, and thank God that the process all works for the best
in the end.
As for Obama, show you love this country and wear a flag pin like all the other men who
love this country. If you don’t love this country with every fiber of your being, then you
don’t deserve to become our next president.
God dam America indeed!! I hope the good Lord puts Rev Wright in his place once and
for all! If you don’t love this country, leave! Go and see how great it is in some other
country. Rev Wright, we simply don’t need your kind here, and that has not a thing to do
with race, and everything to do with the man that you are!

My New Puppy House Trained In 3 Days!!
This is my new puppy, her name is Heidi! She is a mut, 3/4 Poddle and 1/4 Yorkshire Terrier. I guess they call them Yorkie Poos!
Heidi is the smartest dog I ever had! She is five weeks old, and she is already potty trained, it only took 3 days. She also comes when I call her. I never had a dog that young able to do that.
I feed her nothing but Iams puppy chow and water. She is thriving!

Never Be Lonely Again!!
Are you lonely??
Many of us will find that we are lonely sometime during our lifetime. Depending upon the circumstances, you can even feel lonely in a crowded room.
Towards the end of life, many people find themselves in a difficult situation. A spouse dies, the children are grown up and gone, and the golden years ahead appear not golden at all, but a long expanse of loneliness, to be faced with declining health, and sometimes declining finances. Add to all of that, life long friends are dying or in poor health, making things even more difficult.
So what is a solution to loneliness? One can stay active with social clubs, church and other people orientated organizations, that depending upon health and ability to drive and get around, provide a good way to stay in touch with other people and make new friends. However, many of the elderly find that they cannot get out and get involved like they once did. What is the solution to loneliness then??
The simple and common sense answer to that is a PET! A dog or cat, or maybe even a guinea pig!
A dog is usually the first choice in the battle against loneliness, but not always the only choice. It depends upon the ability to care for the animal. It is best to choose a smaller, more calm breed, that is easy to care for. All dogs make wonderful companions, and that includes a mixed breed commonly known as a mutt! And, instead of going to a pet store for a puppy, consider getting a dog from a local shelter that is already house trained. Puppies are cute and wonderful, but they can often present challenges that an older person would be best to avoid. We have adopted many wonderful dogs from the local shelters, they are healthy, often spaded and neutered, and make wonderful companions. Just make sure you have a little extra put aside for vet bills. Dogs should go to the vet at least once a year for a check up and shots.
The next choice for a companion animal is a cat! Cats make wonderful pets. They can be just as loving as a dog. Most cats do well with elderly people. They are also a bit easier to care for than a dog, however a cat box will need to be cleaned out often. It is not something that you can let go. Failure to keep a clean cat box may result in your cat doing its job in some other area. Think about it...is it really the cat’s fault? Cats need to see a vet every year for a check up and shots. It is a good idea to adopt a cat from a local shelter, as a vet has checked to make sure it is healthy. Cats can carry a lot of diseases, so you want to think twice about where you get your cat. Of course, living on a farm, we had a lot of stray cats that city people would drop off. Sometimes, a stray cat chooses you as their new owner. We had many wonderful stray cats that became a part of our family. The trick here is to get that cat to a vet right away for a check up. Cats are susceptible to many diseases, however most are easily treated if caught early.
Another wonderful pet is a guinea pig. At one point I was alone for a period of two years. I lived deep in a pine forest with a dirt road the only way out. It was an isolated and remote place where it would be very easy to feel alone, and maybe even a bit afraid. Enter Miss Molly, my faithful guinea pig!
Miss Molly kept me company, it was wonderful to hear her drink from her water bottle at night. In the morning she would wake me up, begging for a leaf of lettuce. At night we would watch TV together, she would turn and lay her little head on my chest and gurgle with contentment. She made me feel not alone, and unafraid! She was such a little sweetheart, and I miss her.
There is just one problem with a guinea pig and that is their rather short lifespan. Most live to about 31/2 years, although I did have a guinea pig that lived two years longer than that. Other than that, there are very few drawbacks to having a guinea pig for a pet. You can even have several if you wish as they are very sociable animals. A guinea pig does not need much. I use a see through plastic tote box, the biggest I can find, for their home. Guinea pigs need to be cleaned out twice a week, and more often if there are multiple animals. They do not have to go to the vet, unless they become ill for some reason. That is usually not very often as they are very hardy little animals. I tell may elderly people to try out a guinea pig as a pet, and so far it has worked out in a very wonderful way! It is wonderful to see the look of delight as they discuss the antics of their guinea pig.
All in all, loneliness is nothing more than a feeling of being alone and unloved. God in his great wisdom gave us these wonderful animals that we can enjoy at any stage of our lives. I see pets as bundles of love, and I know that people love their pets as much as they love other people, and in some cases maybe even more!

Knee Pain Healed With Hyaluronic Acid!!
If you ever had a sore knee, you know what it is like! Your life is miserable every time you have to walk. My knee did not hurt at first, it simply made a crunching noise when I went down steps. As a child I had injured that knee while tobogganing. By the time I was in my early 40s that knee started to hurt so bad that I needed to wear a tight knee brace just to walk. I went to the doctor and got the bad news that the cartilage in the knee was just about gone, because of injury. You know that did not make much sense to me, and surgery did not either. I know people who got knee replacements, and it is not a fun thing to go through, and being so young, I would have to have numerous knee replacements.
Well, well, because I am vain, I started taking HYALURONIC ACID for my skin. I always had really excellent skin, but I suddenly noticed that no matter what I did, my skin looked very flaky and dull, and when I wore make up, it looked like stucco on my nose and forehead! And, no amount of creams or moisturizers seemed to help, which seemed very odd. I also had very dry flaky skin on my legs! Oh yeah, I was coming apart at the seams!!
About two weeks after taking hyaluronic acid, my skin did not look much different, HOWEVER, after a year of agony, I noticed that my KNEE started feeling much better!! I thought maybe it was a fluke, but I continued with the HA, and after a month my knee pain was GONE. It no longer creaked, and my skin was coming around too!!
To me it was a miracle! I started researching HA online, and sure enough there it was in joint health combinations. I had tried those products before and they never helped, probably because there was not enough HA in it for my kind of a problem.
(I just went to Wal Mart, and bought 30 caps of HA (20mg) and took 4 a day. A bottle of 30 costs about 6.00! A lot less expensive than knee surgery!)
I have been taking HA for about 6 months now, and my knee is great! I do have to say that I am careful with it, I do not jog or jump on it, that would be tempting fate! However, I can walk anywhere and I do not have knee pain and that is like a miracle to me.
I am bracing for another long Wisconsin winter, but this winter I will not have to slick myself up like a Thanksgiving turkey. I will be able to take a shower and dry off with out flakes of skin coming off my legs. I will not have to use a half a bottle of baby oil just to feel human!
If you have a sore knee or even dry skin, give HA a try! I think that the body can heal itself with the correct nutrients. My body was trying to tell me something was wrong when my skin became so dry, but I did heed the warning, and then I started having more serious problems.

About two weeks after taking hyaluronic acid, my skin did not look much different, HOWEVER, after a year of agony, I noticed that my KNEE started feeling much better!! I thought maybe it was a fluke, but I continued with the HA, and after a month my knee pain was GONE. It no longer creaked, and my skin was coming around too!!

If you have a sore knee or even dry skin, give HA a try! I think that the body can heal itself with the correct nutrients. My body was trying to tell me something was wrong when my skin became so dry, but I did heed the warning, and then I started having more serious problems.
Everyday that I walk without knee pain, I am grateful that I found HA, because I KNOW that is what healed my knee.

Save Big Money With This Secret!
You can save a lot of money with this multi- cleaner formula that cleans glass, mirrors, stains of any kind, and will not ruin carpet or fabrics. Plus, because you can make it yourself at home with just two simple ingredients, you will save $$$!!!
First you will need a good sized spray bottle. You can use an old Windex bottle or you can go and buy a spray bottle at Wal Mart for .99. Warning, if you are going to use a bottle that had bleach in it, make sure to rinse that bottle out completely! Failure to do so could cause fumes that could make you very ill. Honestly...it’s nothing to fool around with!
Okay, so now you have your squirt bottle and you are ready to make your cleaner. Pour 1 cup of ammonia into the bottle, any kind of ammonia will work. Then pour 1/2 cup of alcohol into the bottle, and then fill the rest of the bottle to the top with water. Shake gently! You now have the cleaner ready for use.
You are going to be very surprised at the streak free shine you see on your mirrors and windows, and glass of any kind. You will not have to continue wiping and wiping to get rid of streaks....that’s what I like best about this cleaner.
It also works good on any kind of stains. I always have some handy for spills on the carpet. I simply spray several times on the stain, and then I use a small brush. Stains just disappear!
It also works for just about all the cleaning in the bathroom. It gets the scum out of sinks and tubs, and makes the faucets shine! It is also anti-bacterial, so while you are cleaning with it you are also disinfecting too. You can also use it on floors....
You can use it for anything in the kitchen that is greasy. The ammonia in the formula just eats the grease! Your kitchen will sparkle!
I figure that this home made cleaner costs about .50 per bottle to make. Now compare that to a bottle of Windex, and you can see how quickly the dollars add up! This formula is especially good for hotels. Motels, restaurants, any place that has a lot of cleaning needs, the more you use it, the more money you save!
